How do you see Deontay vs Fury going? Whats your technical breakdown?

“wilder only knocked fury down because he was either off balance or not looking.”The notion Fury has to run away and box is misleading. People acting like Wilder knocked him down every time he hit him just didn’t happen ,he only got the knock downs when Fury was off balance and not looking where his head was down other then that he mocked Wilder when taking clean shots in an up right stance .
The knockdowns were late as well ,if a fitter Fury stuns him again multiple times I expect a stoppage and that’s far more reasonable then Fury going down and having to take a direct punch for 12 rounds because he will .
Mistakes people are making in favor of Wilder .
A . Fury will be throwing punches to .
B. Furys offense shuts down his chances of getting hurt by a good 80% .
C. Furys training camp ,like last time will have the superior preparation in terms of in ring tactics with top notch guys ,Wilder will have to find guys to mimic Fury and even Ivan Dychko didn’t help much last time because of Wilders limited skills .
D. Mocking the Otto Wallin fight in a fight that by far would have helped Fury for this one ,it’s a fight he needed to get him to actually work hard in the ring something Wilder can’t do because he’s not a high volume puncher who grinds you down he just waits for openings.
Wilders ace is the actual chance of opening a cut early on Fury but will he land enough on it and do you put money on a hope blood goes into Furys eye to win a fight ? No you don’t ,no one does .
I see Fury fighting in close quarters taking away Wilders wild swinging with high volume combinations at times making Wilder miss from distance going in and repeat , this will be done when Wilder covers up from Furys jab that he can’t defend and Fury will go to work on him and end it by round 8 with more aggression .
Wilder can win if Fury let’s him start to land body shots to set up over hand rights and that means out boxing Fury which just isn’t going to happen, worst case is Fury starts leaning on him on inside and using rough tactics to shut that down ,if this does go 12 I think Fury wins more clearly this time where he can’t be robbed .
There’s not much to say about Wilder , the fight rests on what Fury does or doesn’t do to win . He could simply move around for 12 behind a jab and play it safe , ducking in close range like last time wasn’t exactly doing that ,he cost himself the fight and he knows that .
i agree. i also think those are two huge things flaws fury has always had and that will be his downfall.Comment

I see another classic fight. What I think Fury might try to do, and I'm just going to talk about what Fury will try to do as we all know what Wilder will try to do. Fury I believe will often try to get very close Wilder, to kind of smother his power by taking away leverage. Wilder's incredible power shots, he usually needs some distance to land them, if Fury is right up in his face, it will be harder for Wilder. Deontay loves those big wild swings.
Let me use an example here, surely some people here remember James Degale's hot streak? Where he looked to have a lot of power for the weight (nothing like Wilder, obviously) and he was winning by KO, and knocking down top guys, too. Then when he had that shock loss from Troax, he didn't look to have any power at all, that was because Troax was constantly on him, constantly closing him down and taking away the space that DeGale needs for that kind of lunging power shot he constantly landed during his hot streak.
It would be interested to see what Wilder could land if Fury was right up there close with him. So, there's two ways to avoid Wilder's power, stay out of distance for 12 rounds, which can be very tough as soon as you hover in to mid range briefly, like Ortiz, like Fury at the end, you are in serious trouble, or you get right up in his face, it would be a brave move, but it might pay off.Comment

I agree with all of that really. When Fury says slugfest he means inside fighting, where he actually is much, much better than Wilder. He never actually went inside the first fight and pressured him at all, which I thought he would do, instead, spending most of the 12 rounds in Wilder's range of his right hand trying to slip them..... the danger zone when it comes to distance really. Wilder loves not being pressured and fighters trying to box him from the outside.... he's not too good mid range or in the pocket.
Everyone on this forum treats Wilder like he is some kind of slugger, that if you pressure him you get knocked out, when I haven't even seen a fighter stay close and slug it out with him.
Fury completely outboxes him outside and inside, but staying outside increases the risk of Wilder getting his right hand off..... all it takes is one. If Fury can herky-jerk his way inside, stay close and pressure him inside he will beat up Wilder.Comment

Fury won't have to outland wilder.much to win rounds because in each round it will be clear he has more skills., by dodging punches by cms just like first fight.
Making him look like nfl player he wasComment

He was knocked down twice not once.LOL it takes more than 1 knockdown/KO to go chinny , it takes many of them, I dont think theres any lasting significant damage?
I suppos ethat can happen actually remembering wanderlei vs cro cop but I think Fury is a different kinda guy he is extremely robust, big head, just big strong and able to take itComment
