3 or 4 years too late. I would watch it but not with any real interest. I dont even care who wins now either.

I reiterate, if Eddie Hearn announced this fight was the objective for signing Kahn. It was all about making sure the fight happened by clearing obstacles.
So why is it we can’t blame him when it doesn’t happen? Was Kahn too damn shrewd for fast Eddie?
Did he pull a bait and switch on him fighting two nobodies and then moving on to TC a fight no one thought he could win? Was there not a Gurantee for the fight built into the agreement?
Maybe Kahn needs to be running Matchroom then. Clearly he is just too slick of a business man for good ol’e Hearn to fight back against? GTFOH Expired.
Eddie didnt stand in his way and naturally couldnt blame amir for taking that fight.Comment

Kell Brook and Eddie are frauds, Brook was unfit but was trying to win the WBO welterweight title off Terence Crawford. Hearn was negotiating on the low with Toprank for Brook despite the late 2018 deadline for Khan vs. Brook that Eddie declared on SKY.
7 million for Billy Dib, who do these clowns think they are dealing with? Khan gets bags all over the world. Kell Brook is a sucker.
i didnt know the full extent of his story until he talked about it once. He was discouraged early on by religious ******s like his mosque teacher, that boxing is not for him, that it isnt a career..he cant rely on it etc.
So amir worked harder to prove them wrong. it's prob why amir skipped a few steps in his growth inc the mental maturity to deal with his position.
kell brook has been a bitter hater his whole career..but didnt want to cement his own legacy.Comment

Yeah money with an expected beat down. Then he quit UK style. But that is much different from losing to the guy that defines you legacy at home right? Amir is garbage.Last edited by Fire4231; 01-18-2020, 11:28 AM.Comment

personally, i know amir loses to kell, but i respect him more in terms of his past in boxing. He kind of got rushed early in his career, didnt have the foundations/physical toughness for dog fights. But that got him fame because he was so young. people love to see a 17 yr old making waves than a 22 yr old.
whatever criticism people throw at amir khan or even Eddie hearn about this fight not happening, i think 'why should amir have given kell brook that fight?'. literally there was a guy purposely playing upto the anti-pakistani/****** (not saying he is racist at all btw) crowd and effectively picking on aguy with a known weak chin. it's easy to target that guy who's been in big fights and you've seen him at his lowest, have him figured out...whilst you've hid in dark corners doing nothing.
i dont respect kell brook's career tbh. i believe had he been a bigger name and perceived as more of a threat, porter would have done more to beat him. porter fell fof the wagon and lost that fight himself, by being wreckless. in a rematch porter would have outboxed him.
there's a lot of this in boxing, you get someone who's a relatively unknown quantity beating a 'name' and then acting like he's special..only to get beat by someone who does his homework later.Comment

Well it makes more sense to fight Crawford, lose..and still get the kell brook fight. Than fight to kell brook, get ko'd and nothing else..only for kell brook to then get the Crawford fight. Furthermore kell wanted the crawford fight and was close to getting it before Amir came in and stole it off him.

no, he wouldnt have made more money fighting kell brook. at most he'd earn £5m vs kell...lose and then not get anymore paydays.
by skipping that fight, he's made $5m vs canelo, $5m vs crawford, $7m vs billy dib..and can still make around £2.5m-3m in the uk for the kell brook fight. Eddie has even said that matchroom will prob lose money putting on that fight paying AK, but they want to make the fight.
people would still watch it..even if they dont want to watch it, if its on, they'll watch it.Comment
