Munguia has a smart team. Timing might be right with GGG. With a win, it could put the right amount of pressure on Canelo to agree to fight Munguia. That is the payday they are seeking.

And inexperienced, and not at his weight class, and not when GGG himself was 2 years older, and not after GGG got a gift decision in his last fight. A lot has changed in 2 years is my point.

Ah yes... the good old days I was a Trip G fan and defender.... I miss those.

Actually, I give Munguia a better than average chance against Golovkin. Trip G is inactive, relies completely on his jab anymore, and Munguia is aggressive enough to score against his rapidly aging reflexes. Any improvement at all to even the most basic defense in the ring and I think he takes a decision against him

Why would you explicitly admit that you want to fight a guy because you think he's slowed down and isn't very good?

I thought you're supposed to want to fight a guy because he's tough, not because he's NOT tough.

What is Canelo making cherry picking like the thing to do these days?

People are crazy thinking Manguia has a chance (or they just trolling) and this is 50/50 fight, lol, even 50 y.o Golovkin will school this guy, there are at least couple of levels of difference in skills between those two
