What is it, $125m a yr for 16 cards. $7.8m a card ave? the majority of their cards last yr didn't cost that much. They also get paid seperately by sky sports. Some of those big cards like AJ-Ruiz had a lot of UK fighters.
What dazn spend on Canelo/GBP and GGG is seperate. I imagine they only got those guys to prove they can secure the big names.
I think Hearn has played it smart tbh. It's not just about what you spend but forcing your competition to also overspend.

Loads of brits holiday in turkey. Tickets are dirty cheap right now. £240 1 week inclusive deal in a 4* hotel inc the return ticket.
Turkey is a ****** country but it's very secular and non-practicing. Most of them drink alcohol, in otherwords it's an ideal travel location for europeans. It's also pretty cheap, nice cities, nice weather etc.
Turkey is by no means a rich country though so it would surprise me if they could pay silly money to host this fight. Nor do i see what that fight would do for them considering their tourism industy is booming.

Or it would be a fight with nothing at stake, with Whyte being stripped of his interim title for taking a WBO fight, and Usyk risking losing his mandatory shot if he loses.
If Hearn has one positioned to try to get the WBO title and the other positioned to try to get the WBC title, them fighting each other is the worst thing imaginable for Hearn.
