I said it was a great fight betwen two elite fighters, are you saying that's 'negativity'?

...or is expressing the opinion that's in disagreement with the official result of a fight now described as 'negativity'?

Someone shoulda sent me the memo, man, I didn't realise we'd gone all groupthink while I wasn't looking.

The main point Richard said is the atmosphere provided some what of a mirage to the fans and you hard core ggg deck riders ran with that. My thing is this: The fight is there an it can be rewatched but all the ****** arguments for ggg winning are baseless and lack proof. The man threw about 1000 jabs and managed to land about 60 solid ones and the rest he missed and that’s all he did in the whole fight. Everything else of his usual arsenal was taken from him and that proves he wasn’t the ring general. Not only that, the man admitted that he did poorly and never adjusted and could not cut the ring and also it was obvious in both fights he was fearful of engaging on the inside. The man completely wanked out but you ggg clowns are very devoted to these lies

Canelo will be here for years, ggg is done. That’s the best part about all this.

Yes but he managed to squeeze a lucrative deal with DAZn on the strength of a Canelo trilogy and till then we have to deal with his shameless cherry picking. The dude is a leach

I agree with that, and I’ve stated this a few times in the past, 100% my opinion, but I believe The contract ggg got has to have some type of clause that has him earning most of that ONLY if he faces Canelo... I strongly feel that way

the issue is people who pretend Canelo won the first, its either a draw or a slight win for GGG.

GGG won both fights, first clean, 2nd close, at best it is 1 win for GGG and 1 draw. The problem is that most boxing fans forget quickly and get manipulated easily.

Just look at the polls in my signature. Everyone claims that Canelo has by far the most fans out there, but still only 10% thought Canelo won fight 1 and only 28% thought that Canelo won fight 2.

                Numbers do not lie.

Why do you show us interview with Richardson? I can show you Crawford, Lennox Lewis, Pacquiao telling that Golovkin won that fight. So what?

Do you consider this a logical, succinct argument? Or is it just a way to call people names for disagreeing with you? The only relevant point I see you trying to make, it that Golovkin's lack of variety indicates his lack of ring generalship. Of course, I would argue that ring generalship relates more to positioning and control of the ring, and since Golovkin seemingly controlled the center of the ring for the majority of the fight, that he was indeed the ring general. Just saying he misses punches is irrelevant. Just saying he didn't adjust is irrelevant. Cutting off the ring is not a scoring element, and therefore irrelevant.

If anything, I would argue that the fact Golovkin didn't KO Canelo, creates a mirage of Canelo doing better than he did.

Draw was fine first fight 118-110 however is not and was a insult to GGG.

2nd fight was really close as well 115-113 perfectly acceptable for either fighter.
