why did floyd fight canelo at 152 when they were both champs at 154? why did the astros **** on trash cans to signal what pitch was coming. winning is all that matters.

We can do $1k (or MORE) who get dropped the most in the 3rd fight between lil g-string and Canelo. If no one gets dropped or they drop each other equal then it's a draw...

You guys thought he was the BOOGEYMAN and now two fights with Canelo acting like he's a 100
I just thought he was better than Canelo...and he showed he was twice...so yeah lol

Truth, well said...A-side calls the shots in boxing, especially when you are that big of a star

Yeah I am about as neutral as anyone I've seen on the HWs...but I can't believe Wilder turned down that deal from DAZN...just seemed and still seems crazy to me.

Only thing crazier I've seen on here as far as contracts etc go, is people defending paying PPVs

One could argue that not allowing a guy to fully rehydrate is in fact draining him...it's semantics really...and honestly 'draining him' is probably the best way to frame that anyway.

It's not the same as 'draining him' down to 172 or whatever...but it is still basically a form of draining.

That of course is only if Kov would have weighed over 185 at that weigh in...there seemed to be some disagreement over that...I personally find it hard to believe he would be under 185 but maybe I'm wrong...been wrong before.

I feel besides the bionic beef canelo was eating he would def be fighter of the decade . But I cant give it to him based off the failed test . Iam stuck for who deserves it based off my opinion its between : mayweather ( but he wasnt very active) , ward , and chocolatito .

What’s wrong with that? It used to be mandatory back in the day by all and still is by the IBF.

What is the light HW MAX limit???

And your CRYING because someone couldn’t blow up more than 185???
                  Your a JOKE

Defended it against Floyd and lost 11-1 in rounds. Even Chino Maidana did way better than him few months after that.

Came back to fight Angulo at 154, but couldn't make weight, so he had to pay Angulo and move the fight to 155.

From that moment, he spent two years fighting at 155. When he beat Miguel Cotto for the 160 MW belt, he chose to fight chinny welterweight Amir Khan, despite having the Golovkin fight ready for him. Amir Khan was no late replacement, he was chosen as voluntary defense, and he signed a document that he would fight Golovkin afterwards.

Right after the Amir Khan fight, he invites Golovkin to the ring, and tells him that he would put on the gloves right at that moment and fight him... that mexicans don't mess around. While fans insist that he should fight Golovkin, he proceeds to vacate the WBC 160 belt, and states that he is in fact a junior middleweight and won't fight at 160. He announces that he will fight for the 154 WBO title against Liam Smith.

Few weeks after the camp starts, he states on an interview that he's having issues with the weight, and that his ideal weight is 160. Contradicting what he had said the previous month.

At the same time, it is announced that his fight against Liam Smith will no longer have Vada testing. Only comission testing.

Alvarez is able to make weight after getting on the scales naked, and proceeds to KO the Englishman to conquer the 154 world title. He says in the post fight interview, that his team made an offer to Golovkin. Oscar de la hoya insists that Golovkin should accept a flat fee of 10 millions. After some media backlash, the next week ODLH says that the offer is actually for 15 millions. No one believes him ****.

Canelo then announces that he's moving up, and people get excited thinking that he will finally fight Golovkin. But he proceeds to fight Chavez jr at a 164.5 catchweight.

After beating Chavez jr, he announces the Golovkin fight. They gave Golovkin a split of about 30/70, which is what most people thought was reasonable since the first time. At this point Gomez (vicepresident of GBP) states that the fight was finally made because last year (2016) Canelo was not ready yet for Golovkin.

The fight happens and most fans, boxers, and media think Golovkin won a clear UD.

The rematch is signed and has to be cancelled because Canelo tests positive for Clenbuterol and is suspended for six months.

After the rematch happens, Canelo denies Golovkin of a trilogy stating that he doesn't want to fight him again.

That's all folks. I hope you guys remember these facts too.
So much truth that will no doubt be drowned out by Canelo fanboys
