that's exactly what they were doing...they were saying they were crazy and they were gonna ruin teos career.....because they honestly thought the fight was unlikely to happen...loma talked going down....teo talked going up(or not being able to make 135 much longer)

but then tank davis had a fight coming up...and they needed to use the age of teo to knock tank and all that....started singing the praises of his "balls"....started even talking about how haney and Garcia want tough fights early....how Stevenson is taking on warrington....like gods....all to bash tank

Yet Boots is 25-0 w/ 23 KOs, and they're not impressed! Loma vs. Lopez is the same as Crawford vs. Ennis! The difference is Cameron Dunkin doesn't have the clout that Bob Arum has! I would pay $100 for a PPV with both fights on the card!

It should be on regular ESPN and really give boxing a much needed boost. Lomas fights have always done well in terms of rating on ESPN and Teo is a star.

A PPV would’ve probably do terribly but it’s still the fight to make.

Aside from hardcores, neither is that known to casuals. I'm a hardcore, but I can either stream it live for free, or watch it the next day. What's the urgency?

It's a good fight, but nothing earth smashing. If it's $10, I'll consider it. Fight with either against Davis IS worthy to be on PPV at a reasonable, higher price.

if it's a traditional $70 PPV - I agree 100% it'll fail miserably. Loma & Teo are fun to watch, but they don't have enough casual appeal from fans to where a $70 PPV would make sense

on the pick em thread it was almost exactly 50/50 between teo and commey.....and the loma boys were all like "teo needs to chill...loma will wreck him"

after commey/teo they started repping teo hard to spite tank....then you saw them, when people started saying teo might knock loma out, talking like commey wasnt really nothing to be excited about a win over....

they legit went from telling teo to slow down and shut his mouth...to repping him to spite tank...to telling people that think he can beat loma that commey wasnt really nothing

its comical watching these sad people....teo is dope...fun to watch....i totally respect him and what he wants to do...but im not going to trash every fighter who doesnt do what he does....because what hes trying to do is not the norm
