People said the same about Lewis, he was tentative af when he came back. It's really very rare for a boxer to come back from a crushing defeat like that and rematch immediately. While this path might avenge the loss, it also means there is no time for a tune up, to build confidence. It's straight back in to the top 10

People did say that about lewis but how was It true ?? After lewis first loss he stopped everyone he faced up until ray Mercer in which said fight was a back and forth WAR . Then he avenged his first defeat by knockout , went on to have the best wins of his career , then was stopped by rahman and looked prolly the best and most destructive he ever has in the rematch winning via savage one punch KO . Yes lewis changed his style up but he didnt get more " tentative " as you put it . He simply learned PATIENCE and how to fight behind a jab that turned out to be an all time great weapon ...I get your point iam just not so sure u worded it right or thought it through.

I think lewis got better . He simply set up his punches instead of using the bull rush and the hold and hit ( slightly less lmao ).

Haha no need to apologize . Iam just having a hard time with people comparing Josh's performance in Saudi Arabia with any of Lennox's comebacks I guess .....joshua reminded me much more of klitschko ( wlad ) than lewis . But again I totally get the analogies .
