There were 5 polls..Maidana won 4 of them and was a world champ coming off of a huge win

    Khan had no title...

then he got smacked around by Algeri, so who gives a damn if he was free?

      Actually sometimes they do.
And in this case, it does.

      And prime Khan beats Floyd.
Since Floyd ducked prime Khan, we have nothing to go by other than similar opponents.
And Khan beat Maidana, and Maidana whooped Floyd.
      So, Khan whoops Floyd.

What would have happened if Mayweather was never able to spark Khan? Mayweather in his later career wasn't known for power.

Are you saying that Floyd couldn’t outbox Khan?

Is that why Margarito went on to get KO’d by Mosley?

Since the only thing you can read is Urdu, I am going to assume you didn’t read what I wrote about Canelo, Garcia, Prescott and Crawford knocking your cousin out.
Khan was knocked out senseless. Those are facts!!

Your crap is just speculation and conjecture.
Floyd **** his pants hahahahahahaha I bet youre mad because you wasn't there to lick his ass afterwards

            • Conventional wisdom said Khan would be a much better foe against Floyd at that time. Most people thought Floyd would stop Maidana and make him look like Gatti. Khan had been built up as the next best thing behind Pac so there was hype for him to possibly take Mayweathers 0. I wasn't in this camp though and was pleased with the decision Floyd made. Maidana had changed his stars and had the boxing world buzzing about him with that December demolition job of Floyds younger protege brother "AB". I was sold on this fight the moment announced. One of the big reasons was because this wasn't the usual Floyd match up. It reminds me of AJ vs Ruiz. Maidana had a good paper record but to the eye he doesn't fit that elite picture. However Maidana has a VERY rare style for boxers of today. His whole style is centered around brawling and a killer instinct. A real bull in the china shop. Canelo disapointed after never adapting to a more throw the kitchen sink, last resort style, when he knew he was getting beat. Maidana was the one guy with the power, durability and guts to give Floyd that kind of fight. Even Pacquiao didn't have that level of killer in him as Maidana did during this time.

I appreciate your detailed response. I am always open to being corrected and learning new things. What you say makes sense.

I think the fans that voted were from Pakistan and the US.

I can’t imagine a sane boxing fan wanting to watch Khan fight anyone let alone Floyd.

Lastly, and this is what I don’t get about Khan’s fans; Khan has lost every big fight he’s been in. He’s lost against guys that are no where near Floyd’s skills and yet they blindly and ******ly believe Floyd ducked him.
Well, that version of Floyd no longer had ko power, so there's the argument that AK could have outboxed him.
We didnt get to see Floyd box vs that style at that time did we?
AK was losing to big punchers.

AK was also in better nick around for those 2 yrs prior to the canelo loss when he got with virgil hunter. it's arguable he could have outboxed floyd for that fight.

personally i could see floyd's head movement/defence making it near impossible for AK to land even with his speed, because he was predictable..whilst constantly landing easy jabs on ak. it's possible floyd could have also knocked down amir anyway..even with limited knock out power (i think moreso because floyd didnt need to use his power, it doesnt mean it wasnt there).

You cant deny that would have been the best fight to see in that time period. we didnt need to see him fight Berto or maidana a second time.

                  Thank Floyd.
He’s the one who ducked fighters half his career.

Lamont Peterson wasn’t a big puncher and he went to war with him.
Maidana was a big puncher and AK survived another battle of attrition.

AK has struggled with nondescript fighters a few times and has one up short against slower guys. He was clearly quicker than Garcia, Prescott and Canelo and they all KO’d him.

Roy Jones was as glass jawed as Khan but he was extremely quick, athletic and had power in both hands. He was KO’d late in his career in 2004 - he was 36.
Khan was way too young to be getting KO’d by slower guys.

With that history, the idea that Khan could outbox Floyd is laughable.
The Zab that Floyd beat would end AK in 5 rounds.
The Mosley that Floyd beat would end AK in 5.
The PAC (who is super fast in his own rights) that Floyd beat would end AK in 5.
The Canelo that Floyd beat would end Khan in 3 (despite the “green” moniker idiots give him).

Lastly, AK has not beaten any relevant fighter at 147 (to date) and somehow him & his fans wanted him to get a shot at Floyd?
