  • Comments Thread For: Wilder, Fury Taking a Chatty Path Toward February Rematch

By Lyle Fitzsimmons - When a Deontay Wilder combination left Tyson Fury horizontal in the final round of their get-together 13 months ago in Los Angeles, the exultations were immediate. The Staples Center crowd went berserk. The WBC champ strutted to a neutral corner. And the Showtime broadcast crew revved its hyperbolic engines. "Mamma Mia...

The author wont review title fights for regular belts - not a bad policy, but then reviews IBO title fights - I've never heard of those WWS until I read this article

Fury could theoretically come to the middle of the ring and KO Wilder, but then he makes it a 50-50 fight or more realistically a 60-40 in Wilders favor.

He had better just stick to his herky jerky style and counter punch Wilder. If he can land like he did after he got up in the 12th and do it on a regular basis throughout the fight then by the championship rounds Wilder could be worn down and vulnerable.

No chance Fury is gonna stand in the centre of the ring.

There was something weird about that presser. It seemed as corny and fake as the one Tyson did with Braun Strowman. Fury and Wilder were like bezzie mates trash talking each other for laughs.

            Wilder:

"Ima knock him out the ring, so he can feel a real WWE moment" !

"The only belt he got is the one holding up his pants" !

"He's gotta prepare for life after the marbles have been knocked out of his head"

            and the funniest:

"When he's on the floor I'll do a flying elbow kick on his head" !!

Bomber delivered some classic lines in this presser, he ripped the *****e out of nervous Fury.

They do like each other. Wilder texted and gave his support to Fury during his recovery. Wilder has said repeatedly leading up to the last fight how much he respected Fury for beating his demons. They probably are having a food time up there.

That's how I expected it to go TBH. These two are good friends, they do like each other, and they aren't going to fake it.

Total promotional BS from Fury about standing in the middle of the ring to punch it out.

Wilder doesn't care anymore about trash talking Fury. He knows he is going to knock him out anyway.
