I dont think anyone ever murdered a prime tua . Outclassed yes , but not " murdered," as your friend boldly predicted. Heres the thing with tua . Hes slow (hands , feet ) , has poor plodding footwork and head movement. And if u can jab he has no plan b . Altho they had the same amount of reach (71") tyson had the superior jab , and speed . That would be enough to set up huge punches . That being said tua did have an all time great chin , however any man can be stopped. I would personally pick tyson via UD . A close but clear win . But could he stop tua ?? I think he could, but I wouldn't bet on it . And if the tua that fought ibeabuchi shows up u know you are fighting in hell with gasoline trunks on . This fight could have happened in 1997 after mike lost to holyfield but iam not sure how far into the game tysons mind was then ,and there where much bigger fights / paydays available,with arguably less risk . This fight should have happened . Both massive punchers , one just a far superior boxer who's way faster . I think that's the difference. Tyson was legit the best in the world for a period of time......david tua lost to the best in the world everytime. If you match these guys prime for prime I think tyson could possibly tko tua . But if u match them when it realistically could have happened in 1997 that's a more compelling fight . Not sure if tysons mentality in 1997 could hold off the tua that fought ibeabuchi. Interesting mythical match up . I'll stay with tyson by decision prime for prime ( stoppage not unforeseen) .

And I'd say that's a 50/50 encounter in 1997 . I'd have to pick tyson via decision again just closer . To hard to pick tua to beat any all time great fighters , he didnt show up regularly, just plodded around getting jabbed. I think Tyson beats tua 9 out of 10 times.

I think Tua would suit Tyson , Mike I feel could punch faster in the exchanges than Tua and his footwork gets him inside quicker, but its too very big punchers so he who lands clean first can open the door to a finish, I would bet Tyson to win this one by KO.,,,,,but I wouldnt bet much lol.

I think Tua would outlast and stop Tyson. He would have to go through hell to get there but Mike would gas, Tua would come on strong and win via late KO as far as i'm concerned

Yea Tua's chin makes that a sketchy call to me. Fair play thinking Tyson would win but put him to sleep idk bout that one. Mainly it just seems like it'd be a fun ass fight idgaf who would've won.

I think the bottom line is that tyson wouldn't stop tua. Nobody ever has.

But tua could definitely stop tyson because he's up there in pfp punching and tyson has been stopped before.

I got tua every time in that match. I don't see how anyone could realistically see tyson stopping tua.

A ******* to the face probably wouldn't stop tua.

I say no ****ing way. Nobody has ever murdered tua because he has probably one of the goat ****ing chins.

Tua fought a prime lewis and he ate every single shot and went the distance even though he got completely outboxed. Tyson fought a shot lewis and got destroyed.

The bottom line is that there's is no evidence that would suggest tyson could put tua away because nobody ever has, and tyson looks like shlt against anyone he can't knock out.

And tua definitely has the power to stop tyson, when he's been stopped before by people with much less power.

Pfp, for his size mike tyson is one of the hardest hitters.

But pfp for his size, tua has the greatest chin and is arguably not that far behind tyson in power.

I met Tua a couple of times... pretty cool guy, and pretty funny

Tyson was a way better fighter

Tyson had under-rated defense... and contrary to popular opinion, he was a well-schooled defense-first fighter... Cus would have no different

Tua would get beaten up in that fight
