not interested... and i believe this is old news. i saw the quote from conor.. he said something along the line that a fight with pacquiao can still happen since there were offers for it before.

What’s even more surprising was that McGregor also wants a piece of the Filipino legend Pacquiao. According to McGregor, an agreement nearly took place in the past and it is likely to happen again now.

Actually, I can. Floyd has a penchant for fighting non-boxers.

I do imagine 69 would win by snitching on the judges' darkest secrets, though.

I'm saying that it's silly to assume that Manny walks through McGregor just because it's Manny. McGregor is WAY huge compared to Manny, first of all. Incredible reach, longer reach than Floyd, who had longer reach than Manny.

And it's fact that Manny doesn't like getting jabbed to death. He gets frustrated and makes mistakes.

          See above.

You both are leaping too high. I never said Conor beats Manny. I said that Manny has a tough time against people who jab the hell out of him. That's fact though.

I agree you need the jab to beat Manny. But a mma fighter would get smoked by pacquiao in a boxing ring. Especially one who doesn't know what he is doing like mcgregor. He would go out Hatton style earlier than later. He gets hit to much for that speed and power.

Floyd and Pac are 2 different styles. What works vs 1 doesn't work vs the other.

yes. bout 20lbs. but mcnugget aint a boxer so this will mean nothing. it's like kobe bryant playing a 1on1 game against a 7 feet high schooler.

I don't disagree, but McGregor's got a decent jab. That's all he has.

So when your ONLY weapon just happens to be the one thing your opponent doesn't like...

Again, I DON'T SAY CONOR BEATS MANNY. Only that I don't agree that Manny walks through him. He'll struggle to get inside for AT LEAST 6 rounds. Once he gets inside, then yes, I see Manny eventually getting some work once Conor gasses and getting stopped late, just like he was against Floyd.

I'm just not a supporter of the theory that somehow, Manny will perform significantly better than Floyd did, for the same reasons: age, height, jab, reach, weight, etc.

wtf??? lol.. do you know who mcgregor is? lol.. like the other poster mention, what works against 1 fighter will not work against the other. pac is unpredictable. the shiiet he does, you cant teach that in the gym.

im not saying manny smokes mcgregor out in 1, although i wouldnt be surprise if it happens. im sure pac will get hit, but i still see this as a cake walk for manny. dont forget the pillow gloves conor will be wearing. aint gon be the same as those tiny mma gloves.

Manny of current is very predictable. Keith Thurman had him figured out. Which is why outside of him getting dropped that fight was a draw.

I'm not equating the two fighters. I'm saying that Manny of current is being overrated by people. He's not the same fighter. He's not as fast, he gasses late and he gets frustrated too easy when there's a jab in his face.

Remember, Floyd let Conor wear whatever gloves made him happy and they ended up fighting in 8-ounce gloves. Do you honestly think Manny will allow Floyd to one-up him? Manny's pride won't allow that and you know full well it won't.

"Ah...you see, I know that Ployd allowed Conor Mac Gregor to wear 8-ounce gloves. I want to fight Mac Gregor in 4-ounce gloves"

Then, night of the fight, Manny comes out to this:

Only to get jabbed in the face for 6 rounds while Buboy screams and Roach says nothing.

Connor got a taste of that boxing money and it’s hard to go back to those meager UFC purses while getting beat up badly.
