I'm not sure what to make of it. Parker's manager and ex promoter, David Higgins, is the one making the 70/30 demand. Before the AJ/Parker fight was signed it looked like Higgins was pricing Joe out of that one by demanding 50/50, then 40/60, but they eventually settled for less.

Hearn now promotes Parker and also co-promotes Usyk, so I'm sure a deal could be made if Parker wants the fight, but there's no way he is getting 70% of the purse.

"He's the A-side and so if Usyk wants to share the ring with Parker, I would be expecting 70-30 open book revenue share in Parker's favour. I'll get ridiculed for that, but listen, Parker has beaten Andy Ruiz, he's sold out the Principality and the O2 and he's a big name in the UK, so Usyk is the B-side. Absolutely Joe would fight him, as long as the Usyk team recognise and understand that they are the B-side, there's no problem."

Wouldn't be easier to simply say, "we don't want to fight Usyk?"

No way Usyk fights Parker or whoever before facing Joshua.

Another article pushing this "if Joshua vacates" rubbish? Why?
Joshua has already stated he's not giving up any titles, the sanctioning bodies have agreements regarding mandatory rotations, so why this agenda??

... because both bodies have been written to and haven't sorted it out for whatever reason. They can't claim they aren't aware of the issue, the whole boxing world knows.

My understanding is the IBF is first time wise so why is the WBO asking for the fight if it's as simple as you say?

Actually, Joshua said he might have to drop a title, Hearn said he may have to drop a title. Basically hoping we all forget that the IBF and WBO said they will work together.
