yeah gamboa deserves a rematch....but how long will it take to be ready for it? ...took haye over a year....by that time tank will have def moved on and gamboa will just be older

the pbc probably should throw gamboa a bone and give him another good payday to fight someone....he saved the show

I read a few times on this site that Gamboa would only need a month max before going back to training. Didn't think the injury was bad at all. Maybe he had some shoe issues.

If it was a complete tear then why Does he not need surgery? That makes little sense to me, a complete tear means surgery but somehow he doesn’t need it....I’ve never heard of that before

lets be real about something...we def had some reason to believe it wasnt a tear or a full tear......we heard that he might not even need surgery......haye had surgery immediately following his fight....its been a couple of weeks now on gamboa....

i believe its torn...but there was def some reason to suspect there might have been some embellisment going on there....it doesnt make us criminal

Its too bad because it looked like Tank would have had trouble late with Gamboa if his body hadn't broken on him. Then again, at his age, Gamboa broke his body trying to evade Tank's heavy shots. So Tank broke Yuris leg by making him have to evade so heavily on it, which means he was the alpha and would have won this fight no matter what. His aggression coupled with Gamboa's evasive submission tore Yuriorkis' leg. Tank broke his ass down and then knocked him out in the last round. That's the bottom line and the end of it.

According to the Gamboa story prior to this one, he only needed a month to go back to the gym. Story will backfire either way.

Unless Gamboa is ready for a long self-inflicted exile from boxing to cover up the lies.
