BETS IN: Danny Swift has unexpected trouble with Redkach

I've noticed recently that when fighters do a lot of self-hyping, they end up losing, or at least not winning.

Joshua did it, then Ruiz did it. Khan did it, Horn did it, then Murata did it. Eubank did it. Thurman did it. Logan Paul did it (I still say he won that).

And of course, Manny 'God Will Deliver Him Unto Me' Pacquiao was the worst offender, alongside Roach and Arum leading up to Mayweather.

Danny has been doing a lot of it lately. A lot.

Listen, Redkach is no bum. Bums don't stop Devon Alexander. But I do question chin when you get knocked out by a guy that got completely outboxed by Broner and is clearly on the slide.

In short, what I'm saying is that this fight should mirror Garcia / Salka, but it wouldn't surprise me to see it mirror García / Herrera.

Redkach biggest win is vs Devon Alexander. Which would be huge if this was 2013. Devon hasn't had a good win since ... wait for it. Randall Bailey back in 2012.

normally i would agree with you but danny has been training like a madman, been in shape for a while and is seriously motivated.

still what you say makes sense. i think danny has trouble early because he's a slow starter. plus the whole southpaw thing. but he'll break redkach down and get him out of there late.

Of course. But outside of the 'blinky' incident - I think that was Bradley? - Devon has had at least good showings. Remember, Redkach remains the only person to ever stop Devon. That's saying something when the guy outboxed a prime Chino.

That was close to 10 years ago. He ain't been the same. Remember he was addicticed to pain killers a few years back as well.

I think Dannys style lnends to him struggling. He relys on timing and his left. I think he looked great against Granados though. However slick guys always cause him trouble , but he keeps winning.

The best he fought was Thurman and he took an L. Garcia is second tier in the WW division right now.

All do respect Garcia is not second rate. Like i said his style makes him look that way. I though he looked much better and diverse on offense against Granados.
