These promoters and analysts can say all this but the problem is so rampant that we fans expect it now. Do more than speak on it, put pressure on these clowns and the State Commissions. These judges need to be investigated.

I posted this earlier, but I'll repost it here: the judging criteria is so ambiguous you can darn near justify anyone winning a given round.

If you think moving around the ring is something a 'Ring General' does more so then just moving forward, well then that was Hart.

You could make an argument that Hart's moving around the ring was a better example of 'Defense' than anything Smith did if you wanted to as well. Thats two of the four criteria there.

Then figure that Smith wasn't landing all of his punches, so I guess his 'Agression' wasn't 'Effective'; there you go. As long as you have this ambiguous criteria for judging then you can get this whenever a fight happens.

This will ruffle a lot of feathers here, but you can easily fix this by getting rid of defense as a scoreable criteria and better defining others. Defense shouldn't be something you score positively, it is something that prevents your opponent from scoring; in other words defense is still very important in that it prevents your opponent from landing "hard & clean punches" or from having an "effective aggression"- so save the straw man that I am arguing that defense shouldnt be a part of boxing.

Of course the powers that be don't want that-because change rarely benefits those in power.

Hart is a Top Rank fighter. Arum probably had that judge on the payroll and is now trying to deflect any su****ion.

Hart will get cut from Top Rank , Now Bob can make Smith vs Gvozdyk on Loma/Lopez undercard

I fully agree. I watched all of the fight. There was no chance in he// that Hart should’ve been awarded that score. That almost warrants a criminal charge.
Judge should get demoted to lower tier fights after he serves his 1 year suspension and takes all continuing education classes available.

The judge could possibly not work another fight.

CJ Ross didn't judge another fight after Canelo-Mayweather because of the outcry and the previous Pac-Bradley fight scoring she did.

Only thing is those fights were way more high profile than this one, but here's to hoping this judge doesn't work at a boxing match again. Too much blood, sweat, and tears from the fighters to get jerked over like that.

I wanted Hart to win bc B-Hop is my #1 boxer of all time and B-Hop was a huge backstory plot to this fight but I only gave Hart rd 3.

Baron Greenback has got a point because its either corruption or incompetence that makes you give that to Hart, any investigation should start with any large betting patterns around split decisions.
