Jackie Chan is 65 years old and many of the martial arts he practices aren't effective in a real fight. They're meant to look cool in movies.

Boxing, muay thai, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Judo, freestyle wrestling, Krav Maga, Sambo. These are actually effective for self defense. If you learn some bullcrap mysticism-based martial art and try that against a boxer or a judoka, you're getting destroyed.

JC is a blackbelt Hapkido and also trained Judo, Karate, Taekwondo, and Bruce Lee trained him in his own style of martial arts as well. He may be an actor but he can fight for sure.
