OOOOOO Snap! I bet 'ol Eddie Hearnzzzzz is BIG BIG mad! The only champs he has from 130 lbs to 160 lbs are Tevin and Andrade, and if he can't get Andrade a big fight he may be down to one. He probably needed Josh to use him as bait to keep Devin Haney on board just in case he moved up to 140 lbs, but the Bobfather threw a BIG monkey wrench into that plan. Now what's the plan going to be for Devin over at DA-ZASTER? Devin needs to jump off the Titantic now because I can see the iceberg approaching real fast. Come back to PBC Devin so you can join in this potential new lovefest between PBC and Top rank. 130-135 lbs - Devin, Tank, Commey, Teofomo, Loma, GRJ, LSC, Herring, Tagoe, Lamont Roach, Abner, Robert Easter jr, Oscar Valdez (sorry Tevin and Ryan). Lets go!

I don't think this is what this sounds like... I think this was a planned move that he'd deliberately kept from Cyclone until all the pieces were in place. If there'd been a pay dispute there would have been some signs of friction but it literally sounds like he sprung it on 'em.

Could be. There's some days I'd already be educating myself on the relevent legislation and the outcomes of similar cases, but today ain't one of 'em.

Sounds possible he's reckoning on - or been advised of - the protection of the Ali act in a move to the States, even if there's ongoing litigation in the UK (and Cyclone might be reluctant anyway given the ongoing business with Franpton). Coupla years of fighting in the US and hopefully the litigation will be all done and dusted. I'm speculating, of course, but it doesn't sound too implausible.
Finally someone who understands the Ali Act is american only law
