Good post, but you kind of give the impression that women's boxing is worth digging into stats. It's an inferior product with inferior athletes and doesn't deserve attention. Where are all the equality people demanding 3 minute rounds and 12 round championship fights in women's boxing? There are none, because nobody wants to watch a single minute more of it“Dumb-dumb, I was in a whole knee thing for two months,” Well that proves that...
“I’m stronger, I’m faster,” Shields said. “I can fight at 175, and beat those girls, and come all the way down to 154. That’s why Cecilia [Braekhus] ran her ass down to 140 to fight against Katie Taylor. No, I’m way stronger than [Habazin]. She about to get pieced up.”
Oh all those girls at 175 hey... All what 0 to 10 of them? Boxrec doesnt even have any women listed at LHW but if you go to heavy you can see a handful like Geovana Peres https://boxrec.com/en/proboxer/791808 who looks like she would cannibalize Shields. Actually I watched her fight and she looks terrible. Most of the other "heavy" women are like 40+ and fat? More great accomplishments in a division with the best competition hey?
Also lol at her claiming "Cecilia [Braekhus] ran her ass down to 140 to fight against Katie Taylor". Braekhus been fighting at at 147 for what 9 years? And there is no immediate plans to fight Taylor that I know of.. And so what if she did go down to fight her that would be impressive and respectable and would mean more at this point since Katie has accomplished more.
What else... um. Might as well copy paste my other post as it's suitable here too...
I don't know why Claressa is hyping up the KO so much. She's never even fought at 154 has she? What if she struggles to make weight? Not like she has massive power anyway at 160 or 168 and her only stoppages are against terrible opponents. Nikki Adler was a punching bag for 5 rounds before they stopped the fight and her first stoppage was against Szilvia Szabados who already had 8 losses had already lost to previously mentioned terrible Nikki Adler and had already been stopped once by Mikaela Lauren, and went on to have an 18-17 record. Hell even my bookie has Shields by TKO/KO at -225 Decision at +162
YEP
Not like I was ever a fan but I tolerated her to a point. Now I officially hate this slimy kunt

You know, watching Shields handle herself on the way up is disappointing.
I credit her for taking on lofty challenges. I credit her for her willingness to work damn hard at trying to build a legacy. I credit her for all the years of hard work and practice in the camera-less dark shadows at developing her skills and craft. What disappointments me is that she brags about being a champion, yet utterly fails at carrying herself as a champion. She comes off as vastly insecure, bitter and derogatory. She jumps to less-than-well-thought-out conclusions and reaches for the race card when she isn't mumbling-off about other matters loudly. She makes business personal and its distasteful. Instead she makes me wanna root against her when I have enough baseline respect for her to actually want to cheer her on, and its all based on her emerging true nature and questionable character.
I have to wonder if, when those cameras aren't there and the media is absent, if she at all helps to care for her challenged sister. Such would be very telling.Comment

The work she does for her family and the Flint community is pretty well known. But I would like to hear you give one example of her "questionable character." And please don't give me examples of trash talk. You know, watching Shields handle herself on the way up is disappointing.

Braekhus and her trainer already said they aren't going to 140 for Taylor, and that at best they would do a catchweight of 144.Also lol at her claiming "Cecilia [Braekhus] ran her ass down to 140 to fight against Katie Taylor". So Shields is just plain delusional there.Comment

Yep. She is trying hard on the Mayweather blueprint. It might work for her as there isn’t much in women’s boxing at the moment in that terms. She is American, Olympic gold medal winner, can speak English etc So this can make her the female Mayweather.Comment
