The best don't fight the best.

There are a billion titles which mean nothing.

Some decent fights happen here and there but only because of luck.

How can a sport on life support like this even still exist?

    It's truly amazing.

I've hung on for a long, long time, going back to the early 90s but I mean, why should anyone even care anymore?

I agree. Until there is a robust schedule and a bracket, boxing will be hard to call a sport. WBSS was a great thing. Boxing needs it in every division. UFC is more like a sport than boxing now.

      Let's face it

We will always be intrigued by grown men getting paid to punch each other. We hope for the best and only occasionally get it.

Not enough ''bests'' out there and promoters will always make things difficult.

        Nah, Curtis.

        It won't endure another decade.

By 2030, it's all done unless things change.

        And they won't.

Yeah, the WBSS is a great thing, but it's not enough. I applaud their effort, though.

UFC has structure and can work. In fact, I don't think it would exist had boxing not fallen so far.

I dunno, Tony. Boxing goes through these ''rebellious'' periods often. Usually after a death.

Man punching man and no one getting arrested....Something truly fuc ked up has to happen for people to stop watching. Like a loser shooting up the place.

It's never been this bad, though. I mean, my God. I've watched for a long time but I don't care at all anymore. I would if things changed but they clearly won't for a long time and a huge loss of money. We'll see...

I agree with some of what you say but folks have been saying boxing won’t last for decades now and here we are with two boxers canelo and Floyd ****tting on any athletes today.

Boxing will always have critics myself included but its not the oldest sport for no reason and it ain’t going anywhere.

If you think about it, when our top guys fight each other, they do so very cautiously. 1 out of 4 rds will be ''exciting'' stuff.

It's when a top guy faces a no hoper they feel safe enough to go for a ko. Generally speaking.

                  Each div needs 1 champ
So many champs is the nonsense that irks me.

I remember the days when the OP would get upset when GGG was criticized for not moving up...if you couldn’t get the fights you wanted at 160 then what difference does it make at 168. Oh That’s right. If GGg had gone to 168 and made noise then Abel and Loeffler knew their investment would most likely have to see Ward since Ring mag and others had talked about a Hypothetical matchup between Ward vs GGG since 2012....

                    It’s all Canelo’s fault doe.
