If it was just a loss in a list of losses, or a nobody without fame, maybe, but Mikey? He was undefeated, a darling, a P4P candidate. All that is gone and he doesn't have the time to rebuild. What people are going to forget, is Mikey.

That awesome KO of Zlaticanin was 3 years ago! So if he wants a legacy like Manny and Canelo, he going to need a few more signature wins over the likes of Prograis, Haney, DSG, or Pacquiao! Good Luck Mikey!
Absolutely. It’s going to take more than a win over Jesse Vargas to make people forget.

I don’t think Miley has beaten any GREAT fighters.

Not good. Great. Erik Morales was great. Shane Mosley. Cotto. These types of guys. The most talented name on his resume is who ? Juanma ? Robert Easter ?

Now that he's with DAZN, if Mikey can't get the Pacquiao fight next, I think he should consider fighting Vergil Ortiz Jr. or Regis Prograis!

That would be a big step up in experience for Vergil, but his youth and size advantage could offset that. Don't see it happening, but I would watch that for sure. A fight between MG and Prograis would be fun too. Two potentially great match-ups that I hadn't thought of previously.

There’s weight classes for a reason and Mikey needs to go back to his.

Nope it's called a rematch Mikey

Which come to think of it would be the perfect come back fight for Spence to gauge where he's at and a chance for Mikey to redeem himself!
