Nsb pick em 2020 masterthread

Okay gents, I'm looking at next weeks fights and thinking that we're looking at two fairly wide mismatches in Herring vs Oquendo and Mayer vs Joseph but given that we're trying to keep the Pick Em rolling I'm thinking we go with em anyway.

Only other fight - if you'll bear with me - that I've given any thought to, is Kabayal vs Lazaridis, and I'll freely admit that owes a good deal more towards the irrational surge of patriotism I'm feeling at the prospect of my impending Greek citizenship than any belief it'll be a particularly competitve bout....

An intriguing one is Srisaket vs Ruenroeng on August 1. An upset there is not totally excluded for me if Srisaket's mind is not completely in the game as it was rumored a while ago.

That's probably gotta be in despite the fact that the smart money says Amnat's shot to hell by now, pair of Thai legends squaring off ain't to be missed. Anyways come August we got a bit more to choose from with the Matchroom Backyard fights coming on too, so we shouldn't too many problems filling up the Pick Em schedule.

Okay gentlemen, with 3 strong favourites it's perhaps not surprising that we almost all picked the correct winners, but one or two of us excelled. Very special mention and congratulations to mlac and 'Roll both of whom made perfect picks on all 3 fights... Judicious use of multipliers earned several other players in excess of 200 pts this week, most notably koolkc and RJJ. Excellent work gentlemen, I shall try to get used to the bitter taste of your dust as you speed off into the distance.

EDIT: Oh, and I'd very strongly recommend all players check both their scores and multipliers this week. There was a lot of multipliers used this week and plenty of scope for inputting errors... I've done my best to be careful but mistakes will happen. If you spot anything just let me know and I'll get to the bottom of it for you.
