Tyson may well have 'donated' to 'a charity'(set up by one of his pals) ie claimed back the gift aid tax relief and withdrawn the money in cash.
i really fking doubt the taxman (or whoever oversees charity fraud) will be walking around gypsy campsites asking to see receipts.
It makes sense to have different vehicles for tax purposes and the tax can only be the same in one jurisdiction. The Sun has has taken income from one company which suffers UK tax. Fury could have different overseas companies owned through a Trust and the companies could be in offshore jurisdictions. That article is just one ****** thing.

I wouldn’t believe a word of this, they have made a number of assumptions based on very limited information

overseas earnings have to be declared when submitting your tax return..and if they have a lower level of taxation compared to here, you have to make up the shortfall. Basically there's no getting around it as long as you're a British resident...the only way to avoid this is to gain residency in the other country.
At the time, T.F was still based in England.
of course, people talk about his purse, but he would have had to pay VAT on that too...i believe the purse was $5m ie £4m. He would have paid VAT on that, leaving him with £3.33m.
Then there was the promoters cut and all his expenses.
£2.3m in the end is about right though.

thesun is still a pile of **** though..and they certainly don't fact check.

A company is a separate entity so unless the company is registered in the UK you don't have to declare its earnings. This is why I said it depends on the vehicles used. What Tyson would have to declare is his personal earnings not XY inc' earnings.

            These guys are ****ing idiots.

Correction: They are protected frauds who know they will lose by KO to Joshua. All 3 Fury Wilder fights are rig jobs to steal your money.

              still applies

there's no getting away from this man.

like i said, TF's best bet would be to set up a 'charity', pay everything he's earnt to the chairty, claim gift aid tax refunds...and withdraw the money from the charity bank accounts in cash.

the Sun article is ******, it says his purse was 2.3m but that cant be true . His net earning after taxes, fees, expenses etc would be 2.3m.

"just £2.3m"... and how much did you make Robbie? So Tyson Fury fights the baddest man on the planet, a few months into his comeback, for what you think is peanuts, and yet you're trying to criticise him in some way?

Fury didn’t even pocket the purse, he donated his whole purse he earned vs Wilder to charity.

when i file my tax return, im asked about everything eg shares held overseas.
one way or another like ive said..there is no getting around the tax situation, it is designed so that british residents pay what they're meant to pay.
unless you gain long term residency in the other country.

thing is, tyson fury was based in the uk when he took the wilder fight. he only went to the US full time from the top rank contract which came last year. his tax return is for the year prior.

End of the day, $5m is what he got from wilder..and the accounts show £2.3m in profit which makes total sense after tax, promotional fees and other expenses.
