Both are defensively lacking, but Breazeale's reach advantage should keep him out of danger. However, Breazeale is pretty slow and doesn't keep distance that well. This is going to turn into a brawl quickly.Comment

I did. I never thought much of Breazeale. I thought even less of him when I saw him struggle with Carlos Negron. If Negron had power and a gas tank he would have gotten Breazeale out of there earlier than Breazeale got him. I knew after that fight Widler would starch his a ss. But Breazeale has real power and the reach advantage over Kownacki. Plus Kownacki isn't always the most defensively responsible fighter (to put it mildy) so this fight represents real risk for him. He has to show he can maintain his aggressive style but with more disciplined defense. This is a good matchup. 50/50 fight in my opinion. Posters here never said anything negative about Breazeale prior to the Wilder fight. He was tough, had heart & was a good HW but had some limitations. There were so called "experts" here who said he had a chance against Wilder. A couple others & I said Breazeale will be lucky to make it to round 2. We got laughed at by the haters... Then he lost to Wilder in 1 round & all of a sudden he is a bum...Comment

This looks like a bad matchup for Breazeale because he’s not athletic or good enough of a boxer to make his length and height count. This will quickly turn into a close range brawl and Kownacki probably hits hard enough to hurt him and he has a good gas tank to keep the pressure on. Breazeale does have good power but it’s not been displayed against any real quality opponents and Adam appears to have a solid chin.
In the end it is a good competitive fight but Kownacki by decision or late stoppage.Comment
