Does Haymon even gives Soundbites , I think the only information about Haymon the public receives is when he makes a business move or when someone in the industry talks about what he said / did when they had contact with him. He’s basically a real life version of Keyser Soze , A man that everyone knows about but no body really knows , At this point he’s more of a myth then a actual person ,

his absence from the public eye and in the sport has given him the ability to conduct business in way that he is the one whos always in a position of strength and the one who’s in control

You’re probably right a Journalist who’s just bitter because most people in the sport are more like Eddie Hearn and love the Spotlight , Haymons reclusiveness doesn’t allow the media to control how he’s portrayed to the public

CBS has waved off the negotiations to re-up for SEC football/basketball, but by all reports that’s going to end up on ABC/ESPN and Dazn hasn’t been mentioned as a player.
It is insane that there is someone worth quoting in the industry that actually believed DAZN could sign up 3.5 million by now. There are not 3.5 million boxing fans willing to pay. Where was the market research to show them this kind of number or did they let Fast Eddie sell them this?

I think my favorite though is what you wrote above, the idea they could land a major sport. They will be up against at least Apple, Amazon, CBS/Viacom, At&t, Disney, Comcast NBC and probably Dish, Verizon, Microsoft, Alphabet, Tmobile and Netflix. All of whom have access to more capital if needed.

To use the SEC. You think they are going to spurn long-time partners like CBS and Disney over 10 or even 20 percent to be on a streaming service that is in 3.5 million homes (projected compared to 150k or less in reality)? That is you need to overspend by at least double if not more the next best bid to have anyone listen.

Wilder needs to stop ducking and dare to be great vs Joshua. That fight will sell huge Floyd needs to rematch Pac. Two monster events can save boxing and DAZN.

Boxing ALONE will never make DAZN a huge success...EVER!

The sport is just not popular enough particularly here in the US. The numbers of subscribers won't sore and they will have troubles keeping people on board until they get the RIGHTS to the sports that Matters in those Markets and in the US...NFL IS KING!

Just this Weekend Alone NFL Playoff Games:
averaged 30.5 million viewers across four games
those are Ratings that other sports can only DREAM of getting. That being said, NFL put all of their important games on FREE TV they make that a priority to stay on Free TV compared to NBA and others moving a lot of their Games to Cable/Paid TV

DAZN know it has a Uphill Battle and that this America Market if Massive and those other APPS have Huge Backings but also too most of them have 24 Hour Networks in which they can promote their Apps for free

That was among the most accurate statements anyone can make about boxing today. Nationalism, tribalism is why Hearn and dazn seeks the Mexican American dollar. Most of them are not boxing fans....they support the popular Mexican fighter of the moment. If it’s not Canelo, Or even Garcia, maybe mungia, and formerly Ruiz, they are just not intersted and wouldn’t be able to name 2% of the current world champions. If you want to chase that demographic you have a window of MAYBE 3-4 fighters who push the needle, really only 1...Canelo.
It’s a much smarter business model to try and capture dedicated boxing fans and casual boxing/sports fans through promotion and good matches.
That's some B.S your talking about " Mexican fans don't support boxing. They just support their Own fighters ".

Most if not all " Mexican American " boxing fans I know will tell you they watch and support Wilder , Spence , Charlos , AJ etc...

And I say Mexican American because this article is about DAZN in the US buddy.

You've taken these low key shots at Mexican boxing fans before... Quit hating with this B.S Mexicans arent boxing fans shet.

Please tell me you are joking. Floyd will NEVER fight on an app, he is strictly PPV. As well as Manny. Only you Hearn lovers think PPV is dead in America but bad news for you and DA-ZASTER it's not. If May/Pac ll happens on Showtime that brings in lots of money for more quality fights. I think I remember Deontay already rejected DAN once so I don't believe you'll ever be seeing that fight either. Wilder vs AJ is a traditional Las Vegas PPV fight. Premium ticket prices at T-mobile arena at 100$ PPV. Hearn is going to try and convince AJ to leave 50 milly on the table by staging that fight in the UK in front of 90k fans paying for 5 $ tickets. WAR HAYMON!

AJ is not signed to Dazn.

AJ vs Wilder will be a Fox PPV
