On the other hand, whatever bad happens to Saunders (pugilistically speaking, I mean) is very welcome here. I really can't stand him.Comment

Canelo should fight Benavidez next in May while BJS/Smith Charlo/Andrade fight. Canelo fights the winners starting at 160.Comment

You and Tesco Joe blocked that fight from happening on BT last year. Smith wanted to take that fight!Comment

I like this plan better. Both looked like trash in their last fight, so they should redeem themselves while Canelo can either handle unfinished business at 160 with Charlo or andrade or at 168 he can face plant or benavidez.
Not sure why Saunders or Smith are being mentioned as the front runners anyway. It used to be that in order to land a fight with "boxing's biggest star" you had to earn it and come off an impressive performance. With Canelo, the opposite seems true. Looking vulnerable is what gets you the fight with him.Comment

What has Charlo or Andrade done to deserve a shot at Canelo? They’ve done nothing but stall. Fighting can after can waiting on the GB call. BJS is on that same boat. Smith hasn’t earned it either. But at least he hasn’t been stalling for years.Comment

Sorry to burst your bubble but Canelo vs Charlo or Andrade in AMERICA is a much bigger fight than either Smith or Saunders. But its a PPV fight not an APP fight. The rivalry in boxing between blacks and mexicans is the biggest rivalry in boxing. Give them 3 months to promote that fight over here with the name JACKSON or LOPEZ will be chomping at the bit to order is PPV. Canelo needs to come back to showtime PPV.... he's leaving a lot of $ on the table.Comment

Canelo doesn't have to do **** but show up and make the weight for 11 fights.
He's got 3 in the bag already, the 4th is believed to be set for May 2020, and all Canelo needs to do for this next one is make 168lbs.
DAZN paid whatever they paid to get a seat at the table with Canelo; how they get that money back is their own businessComment
