Women's boxing is completely different from the men in terms of depth and quality of competition. It's much more difficult to set records on the men's side.

You know that. Or at least you should.

Shields is pretty good at patting herself on the back and making grand claims for herself. Unfortunately we'll never get to see her fight somebody like Loma but it would be fun to watch her eat humble pie.

They can't even fight 3 minute rounds, I don't want to hear comparisons to men's boxing.

Don't forget that Ronda Rousey was named the most dominant athlete of all time not very long ago. Shields likely does know that the level of competition isn't the same, but is happy to go along with this "girl power" narrative that our media loves to push.

In any case, she's an athlete and a warrior, so she's entitled to feel the way she does.

Can someone please explain to her that the boxing comparison is as bad as NBA vs WNBA, people only care about one. Guess which?

I didn't like it when Rousey was running her mouth about Floyd. And I don't like it now that Claressa is doing it with men's boxing.

They should set all the records they can in women's sports by all means. Aim high and achieve.

But they shouldn't try to act as if it's equivalent to the records in men's sports. That is like comparing apples and oranges.

Ok, so how about we have Loma fight the women's champions in his weight class, the weight class above, and the weight class above that - all at once.

That way he can get three women's titles in one fight. Make sure we throw Shields into the ring so she can experience it too. It might give her a bit of perspective.

Lomachenko is not undisputed, he has two Olympic gold medals, but I still hold the undisputed over him.
Yeah but there's 33 women in that division and #7 and #6 on boxrec in that division have very negative records (8-13, 1-6,) #5 is 2-0. So and and so on. Men's lightweight rankings over 2k deep.
