Comments Thread For: Jean Pascal Willing To Face Anyone: I Never Refuse Any Fight!

WBA "regular" light heavyweight champion Jean Pascal is coming off a very big 2019. Pascal (35-6-1, 20 KOs) retired in December 2017 after an upset stoppage over undefeated Ahmed Elbiali. The 27-year-old boxer resumed his career the following year, with a sense of unfinished business.

        Candidates:
        Badou Jack rematch

        IBO/WBA Interim Champ Dominic Boesel

        Kovalev Trilogy

        Eleider Alvarez rematch

        Marcus Browne rematch

        Zurdo

Dmitry Bivol rematch for the WBA Super

        WBC/IBF/lineal champ Artur Beterbiev

        Jesse Hart/Joe Smith Jr winner

I'd be happy with any of those.

He has alot of options. I'm a fan but can't see him winning some of those fights you listed (he always has that right hand though). Boesel, Jack, Kovalev and Hart/Smith are fights I could see him win.

We already saw that he has major problems with hitting Bivol, and Beterbiev is probably too much for him.

But Pascal has a legit shot in any of the rest of those fights.

He's tough! But, stay clear of Beterbiev.

To be honest, this "young" man has nothing left to prove.
He has had a good career. No small feat in this slimy business called professional boxing.
                  He has exceeded all expectations.

He was supposed to be retired but here he is in the thick of things giving us good fights.
It may all end suddenly in his very next fight.
                  But who cares.
The man has earned my respect and then some.
He is one of the very few fighters who has NEVER had the luxury of an easy or gimme fight in an environment of prima donnas.
He has never cared whether he is the A , B or C side!
                  My kind of fighter.

If anyone deserves a Canelo fight and the $$$ it will bring him it is Jean.

R.E.S.P.E.C.T. to the one and only JEAN PASCAL !?!?!

First pascal is a straight dog. Hes willing to go to war with anyone . He should fight browne again and shut him up ( I think browne is weak mentally and now he will be a bit more timid which would benifit jean and clear the air as a cut was involved ). Or I'd like to see another rematch, a grudge match even and go after kova for no3 .....or the obvious jack 2( but that fight was very close , avenge a loss or retire jean )..... pascal should run it back with one of these guys ....I think pascal can beat kova and kovalev would be up for it to pick up another strap and stay in the mix even if it is a paper title .
