  • Comments Thread For: Joshua: I'll Stand as a Champion, Even If I Have To Give One Up

IBF, IBO, WBA, WBO heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua is not overly concerned with the scenario of having to drop one of his world titles in the right scenario. Last month in Saudi Arabia, Joshua reclaimed his belts with a dominant twelve round unanimous decision over Andy Ruiz in their anticipated rematch. Now Joshua has two mandatory defense obligations on the table.

If Wilder and Joshua ever fight. Joshua will end up like Breazeale.

That is the reason AJ is running his mouth a lot. Fury and Wilder apparently are tied up until next year so he doesn't have that pressure in having to face either one at the moment.

Beating the best in the division make you a champion. Not ***ellery and belts Eddie bought for you.

Clear champion will emerge when the top 2 guys fight it out in feb.

AJ can stick 2 fighting old men and obese non training midget Mexicans.

Yep. This exactly what dillian whyte does as well. Remember when he was shouting about wanting AJ fight last year when AJ was booked to fight Miller. Then miller popped dirty and contracts were sent to whyte for the fight, he ran like a coward and never mentioned it again.

Now ***** whyte squawking about wilder as he knows he isn't getting that fight any time soon.

Dubois will eventually push his way into position to fight for at least one of those belts. Even if AJ dodges Wilder, he won't be able to avoid Dubois much longer.

He's not a champion now, he never has been, and neither has Wilder.

Fury is the only active boxer who has been champion, and he vacated it due to inactivity/retirement.

Wilder vs Fury II is for the vacant championship. None of the belts mean jack.

Sorry, it doesn't work that way. By your analogy, if Mayweather comes back, there are no WW Champions besides Mayweather.

Joshua knows it's all a money spinner he just needs to keep away from the top two he knows it and i'm sure he's hoping Ruiz is still eating himself to death. He needs to carry on making the big money (and he will) us English love a loser for some reason and Joshua is right place right time weather it's right or not!
We know the bubble has burst but it doesn't seem to matter to some!!

He doesn't have to drop a belt. Why do they keep repeating that lie?

Just tell the alphabet groups to stick to the rotation system that has been in place.
