Jessie Vargas respects Mikey Garcia, but he feels that he has the superior skills needed to stop the much smaller Garcia in his tracks when they faceoff Feb. 29 in Texas. "My technique and speed is going to be a key factor and benefit for me. I feel that I'm the faster fighter, and I have to use that to my advantage," Vargas told BoxingScene.com in an interview. "I have to make sure to use my size advantage I have to make sure to fight my fight and not pay attention to how other fighters fought him. I got Vargas over mikey. Mikey is out of his depth at 147 and any decent 147 will be able to beat him. 135-140 is a better weight class for him...he looked extremely soft against Spence body wise so making the weight shouldn’t be a problem with a nutritionist and proper training
