a quote immediately after his loss to Thurman "

A quote before his fight with Rios “No doubt about it,” Danny said. “It was one of those nights when I started slow, which wasn’t my game plan. That falls on me. Thinking back, it killed me a lot. All I had to do was win one or two rounds in the beginning, and I would have beat him. I know it. I want to get through this one, and in time, in time, Thurman will be next. It will be easy. Thurman stopped fighting after the fourth or fifth round."

Yes , immediately following the fight
But he could of made way more noise
Wasn’t vocal enough imo and his career shows that

Yeah, he wants to fight Thurman alright. Now that he appears vulnerable and weak. I hope that Erroll Spence or Manny Pacquiao beats the living piss out of him for cherrypicking someone who is currently at the moment; Both low risk and frail.

Recycling is good for the environment.. Not so much so in boxing. Some matchups are worthy of a rematch, this wasn't one of them.

not sure what else you want. He asked for one after the fight. Thurman then claimed injury and disappeared. Then Garcia mentioned it again a yr later following Thurmans surgery prior to the Rios fight but Thurman still remained inactive. Saying he should've been more vocal about it isn't a valid argument. If you want to criticize him for not being more vocal about a fight with Crawford, OK. But at the end of the day, he fought the best version of Thurman that existed (not the post injury/inactive version we see now) fought the always tough porter, and had spence not been a drunk driving moron, that fight was scheduled to be up next for Jan or Feb. That's a pretty ambitious stretch to face those 3 out of 6 fights.

You can't make any predictions until you see how Spence is in his next fight, then after that we can talk and chat.
