For me Wilder is one of my favourite boxers at the moment possibly even over Tyson Fury.Wilder brings danger and excitement with that punch power of his and I like how he adapts that gladiator persona in his ring walks. Likewise despite what some think I feel has bravery in abundance. All I would say is I hope he doesnt smoke no more of that cannabis.I believe boxing is a noble sport and boxers should aspire to be healthy in mind and body. Noone is perfect but at least we can all try to better ourselves each day.

Comments Thread For: Arum: Wilder is Horrible Boxer, But I've Never Seen One-Punch Power Like That

For sure Wilders power is unique and any one who is fool enough to think they can toe to toe with him are deluded.Only a
big master boxer has a chance with him such as Fury but my money is still on the hitter.Slower less able fighters such as Whyte and Joshua have very little chance.Wilder is a better craftsman than Bob credits as he always finds a route through for those enormous punches which in its self landing so regularly and with such power is an art in itself.

Arum, just made it worst for Tyson if he gets knocked out.
Yeah no joke, DEONTAY is not a technical boxer but he is optimized for his gifts. Roy Jones was another not to technical fighter but his reflexes and speed were amazing to watch. Clearly one of the best to lace them up.
Wilder is another freak of nature. He has decent movement, a strong jab, great stamina, he is an okay judge of distance and he knows how to lull you the sleep before launching that one hitter quitter? In addition he is laser accurate with that Right Hand. If it gets the best results who the f@ck cares that it ain't pretty.
When it was Mayweather or Ward and it was as pretty as it gets these fake fans where still hating.
Wilder just needs to keep that NyQuil on tap and he will go down as one of the best and most gifted heavyweights to ever do it. Foreman wasn’t a pretty fighter either but today he considered one of the best Heavyweights of all time.
And Btw- Wilder is no where near the worst boxer we have ever seen. That Honor may need to go to Samuel Peter. It was like he learned to box watching Flintstone cartoons.
If he wasn’t in MMA I may put McGregor in there also. His technique in the Floyd fight was atrocious.

I remember genuinely wondering who the smallest man who could beat would be.
He wasn’t that tall either. I think a modern day Canelo or GGG would beat him.
Some of the worst feet I’ve ever seen

A skilled boxer like Fury should outbox Wilder, but Fury getting hit quite a few times by Wallin would be a concern. If he gets hit like that by Wilder it's goodnight sweet prince, as horribly technically deficient a boxer as Deontay is.
