I wasn't aware that the injury was that bad, I think what i read was along the lines of "Brewster suffered a eye injury during the fight" nothing that would lead me to believe it was so serious, but with the ammount of time he's been away it makes sense.Comment

i dont think we will see him back before the end of this year.
and when we do he will not want to step right into a rematch with lyakovich.
hes at least a year, maybe a year and a half away from challenging anyone for a title.Comment

Brewster nearly beat Liakhovich with only one good eye. I see him winning by stoppage in a rematch. Remember he had Liakhovich down right at the end of a round, but the bell saved Sergei.Comment

show me a prgnosis, something, anything that indicates he will ready to fight anytime soon. the fact is you cannot, and the fact is that if lamon brewster were going to be ready and was one fight away you would be hearing from him right now.Originally posted by PBF34I dont think so.
He is one fight away.
he is not training with a detached retina, id be suprised if he isnt 30 pounds over his best fighting weight at the moment.
i guarantee you he doesent fight before the end of the year.Comment
