Name the four PBC PPVs in 2020

PBC signed an agreement with InDemand to air four PPVs a year. What do you think they’ll be?

(Remember, Wilder-Fury doesn’t count because it’s a joint PPV with ESPN)

    Here’s my guesses

Gervonta Davis vs. Leo Santa Cruz

It’s been talked about so much it seems like a foregone conclusion.

    Manny Pacquiao vs. Shawn Porter

Pacquiao‘s camp has stated his next fight will come against Danny Garcia or Porter. Porter makes more sense based on the timeline.

    Keith Thurman vs. Adrien Broner

Thurman needs a name opponent to return to PPV and Broner (for some reason) is still a name opponent for a PPV broadcast.

    Deontay Wilder vs. Andy Ruiz

Regardless of what happens with Fury 2 and 3, Ruiz makes sense for Wilder. Ruiz will likely have a comeback fight while Wilder is dealing with Fury and this will be an end of 2020 fight.

If Spence is ready, i think we may see Spence/Crawford because now they realize that there's something even worse than a loss during marination...one of the fighters dying lol.

        Wilder vs Fury x2
        Pacquiao x2

Are the only PPV's they can do with Spence's situation right now.

Ironically Floyd doesn't fight under PBC so if he does actually come back that won't be a PBC PPV.

Four is the minimum they must do. It will likely be 5 or 6. If Wilder fights Fury twice, both will be on PPV. If Pacquiao fights twice, both will be on PPV. Spence likely has one PPV, although that could be the Pacquiao fight, which kills two birds with one stone. Then one Tank PPV.

Four is the Fox miniumal (one a quarter). Showtime will do between two and four as well.

Incorrect. Four is the minimum period. The deal with InDemand has nothing to do with Fox or Showtime. PBC must supply a minimum of four PPVs a year regardless of whether Fox or Showtime produces them.

This states that PBC/Fox Sports to do a PPV each quarter.

Espinoza said they will do 2 to 4 PPVs.

It’s a bit silly signing up for a set number of ppv if true, surely they need to judge an event after its made.

I know when we see interviews with Adam smith (sky sports) he never knows how many ppv there will be in the uk. He has an idea it will be between x and y and knows which fighters would definitely be on ppv, which could be if fought against the right opponent. For example he always talks about Joshua being a certain for it, Whyte becoming a most likely dependent on his opposition and l generally other fights only dependent on their opponents. brook vs Khan for example he has said would merit it if it happened, but otherwise both would be shown (if on sky) on normal tv.

I’m sure pbc follow the same approach
