Haney will be at 140 in a couple fights anyway. Same thing with Lopez.

Well Haney's next fight is going to be against the winner of Campbell/Fortuna for the WBC title, so he werent exactly lying, lolComment

It's hard to have some grand overarching plan with how unpredictable boxing can be, especially with how quickly things unravel due to political bull****. Haney is a 21-year old four-year prospect who's in title contention, so he's already ahead of the curve. He's being brought along well and will have his opportunity to show and prove against Campbell/Fortuna. Just heal up from the injury, and don't balloon up in weight so you're close to fighting shape when it's time to train. At this point in his craeer, Haney still has a lot of control over his destiny.Comment

well, now that there's some ****ed up splintering of the WBC, yeah lol.
I'm sure the promise was "sign here, get Campbell, get Loma" and it turned out to be "sign here, get handed belt, get Campbell"
not quite the same lmfaoComment

Haney has so long left in his career I don’t think he needs a plan in the same way others do - at least he doesn’t need to rush.
We will see what dazn can get at his level over time, they are obviously weaker there than other areas such as heavyweightComment
