Spence/DSG is a good fight, but if Spence is the same type of fighter he will beat DSG up on the inside. DSG really struggled when Peterson got on the inside of him and Spence is much better than Peterson in that regard.

It's a stacked division and any fight between between the top welters will simultaneously show us a lot and also reinforce the fact of how good they are. That's what I took from Spence/Porter. It showed Spence willing to mix is up and get inside more, and it showed Porter's drive and will. It also left a lot of people with a better impression of Porter (well deserved), when some were willing to write him off.

Spence beat porter at his own game and went into a dog fight trying to stop him. He didn't try to outbox him or anything. And nobody is floyd. Get that out of your head.

Spence is dedicated just got caught up and made a mistake. But as soon as he got back somewhat healthy Derrick James said he was back in the gym. And we have yet to see spence utilize all his skills but what he has shown so far is he can outbox fighters and also fight the dog fight.

Thurman left boxing for 2 years with a mystery injury so lets not question dedication. So thurman is irrelevant.

Also Danny isn't beating spence from what I've seen. Depending on how spence fights, he can outbox him or punish him on the inside. Danny is flat footed and only has one punch. But spence has a chin and hasn't been dropped.

The only person beating spence right now is Bud and I'm sure that fight will happen this year.

Nice Spence hate thread. I thought he beat Porter with room to spare. He doesn't have to be Mayweather. He is a fine undefeated champion in his own right. Doesn't have Porter's chin????? Spence has never been knocked down while Porter was knocked down and almost KOed by Broner and he was knocked down by SPENCE. As usual when you are trying to discredit a good fighter be it GGG, Loma or Spence you are completely full of it, Garcia lost to Porter but Spence beat Porter. Why would Garcia be favored to beat Spence when Garcia always loses the big ones and Spence has never lost a fight or won by a split decision but always wins by ud or 82% of the time by KO.
