And he even managed to get de-brained again after that, by none other than Enzo Maccarinelli.

With those two knockouts, it's a wonder that Jones still has a head on his neck.

The fact he fought for like 5 or so more years after the roid induced beating by Guillermo Jones and his horrific eye injury is telling enough. He has nothing left to prove.

But Lebedev had him on his back, people screaming thinking he died, rushing the ring...

A lot of people knocked Roy out, but Lebedev had that moment where nobody really believed Jones would fight again.

Why go out with some set up clown show, or maybe on your back. If your heart isn't in it, this goodbye thing can turn into disaster. Do it your way champ.

Lebedev in his prime was definitely in some great fights, and really only lost to Huck and Gassiev. No shame there. He definitely earned his retirement. Certainly hope he enjoys his new life outside the ring.

If you look back at the knockouts he suffered against Glen Johnson, Lebedev and Maccarinelli, they all convey that "this-time-he's-dead-for-good" kind of scary feeling. I hated watching at such a great fighter ending like that.

I don’t rate Lebedev that highly, but the decision for Huck was criminal. Lebedev won that fight

You lost to a better boxer Mchunu, give him credit.
