Loma fans know Loma destroys him so they want the fight right now rather than later when the fight would be more competitive because Tank has more experience and Loma is older and slowing down.

Floyd, Haymon and Team Tank seem to be setting up The Loma fight as Tank’s “fight against an aging big name vet to launch his rise to stardom.”

The Loma diehards hate the fact that Loma will be used like this. That is the nature of the game. Loma was using Salido as the same way it just didn’t work out that way.

next year i could say "hey tanks still fighting kids in headgear" but i wont have to because hes already a pro making good money....and selling tix and building his name.....which is what bothers you

The point is he wants Lomachenko now at his best, like any real fighter should. He's not trying to wait him out like some suit in a boardroom scheming for the right opportunity.
i already replied to this post...but just wanted to clarify....i think u missed my point

teo didnt knock out the jap kid.....and i think most were expecting him to....and there was some talk about teo maybe looking ahead and not being focused enough or training hard....and that was right before commey

but when teo had the belt fight with commey he tightned up and did his thing......

yeah tank didnt beat the beejezus out of gamboa like we thought he would...but he barely lost a round ....didnt struggle...but maybe took it lightly and was looking ahead.....its not like he cant refoucs and tighten things up and look great next time out

yeah he looked real good before that...and so has tank....tank won by a wide margin the other night too but didnt take the guy out when everyone thought he would...same with teo and the jap....that was my whole point
But Teofimo is actively pursuing the Lomachenko fight. Now, not later.

          Gervonta is not.

          That's the difference between them.

ok....so let him....someone has to wait...tank can wait till next year....not a crime...not even a small crime...someone would have to put it on the backburner...might as well let the stablemate get it first.....its not like some major offense here

Don’t try to spin this into some agenda driven hate...some of us just like to see talented fighters compete against the best, you know, what the sport is supposed to be about.
Just make sure to apply this thinking to all promotional factions. Don't let any of them get away with it.

Because it seems like people only want to criticize PBC for this. Which is what pisses off some of the posters here.

The bottom line is we have two different approaches here.

As a fan I admire what Teofimo is doing and can't respect what Gervonta is doing.

Anyway, weren’t you one of the guys calling for loma to fight Haney?
Lopez has never fought for a world championship. NABF shlt stepping stone trinklet is all. He is the same As Davis. But will fight the top guy.
Even if he loses to Loma doesn't make him less of a fighter. Like you said...he dared to be great and that admirable.
Running Ducking and crying about to soon like these Davis fans sound like a bunch of puzzies.

i totally admire what teo is doing....

you can not love what tank is doing but his career progression isnt any better or worse than most.....you dont have to love it...but what hes done so far is not a major crime against the sport...if it continues it will be.....at this particular juncture its not
