In a perfect world, we’d see all these guys willing to face each other. The reality is, some have more to lose than others and a loss can seriously put a damper on someone’s marketability/earnings. Can’t hate on guys for choosing less risk especially if it can be also be lucrative, but I’m not interested in watching whatever bs fights their promoters force on us while while they piss their talent away. Just imagine any other sport where the goal wasn’t to be the best and you had a bunch of different guys/teams all running around claiming to be the best while avoiding each other.

If the fighters stop trying to think that a 0 wont necessarily get you the Floyd Paydays. That being a great fighter that is exciting does, Having a fan base.

in reality if tank waited until at least next year its perfectly normal for someone of his age before he takes on a p4p top 2 guy.....youve really only seen canelo taking on p4p top guy....and possibly teo in april....other than that most guys werent taking on p4p top 1-3 guys at age 25(which tank turned in november)

Whether managed by Floyd or Princess Diana, Davis won a belt from Pedraza so that implies he's ready to face the best challengers including Loma, regardless of age. The fight could have been made but he got pissed at Floyd for even considering it?

He has to walk the talk or he and his team lose credibility to fans who simply want competitive fights. The narrative: Davis is the top dog. The catch: so long as he doesn't face a guy who's a threat. When the catch is untenable, then the narrative necessarily becomes hype.
