It happened and most knew what was going to happen - it never felt like one of those real challenges in a P4P type moving up in weight to test himself.

He never even acclimated himself to WW like a lot of fighters who are serious about moving up... he just showed up to give Spence some shine for the greater good of the PBC, that's what it always felt like. I feel like a lot of hardcore fans wanted that platform for Spence so a lot of Mikey's previous track record went overlooked...the guy has been on/off a lot of his career involve din lawsuits and the rest. I wanted Spence to make the next push too, but it felt very forced and not genuine.

It only feels like it didn't happen now because Spence has not come out looking that great himself either after Porter and the wreck.

I think Vargas is a good fight though, Jessie is about as honest as they come so I think Mikey will have to work and really show something to win. For some reason I just don't trust or believe a lot of what Mikey says but I'll hold off and watch this fight, I really want to be wrong in my opinion on him.

He is just your typical coward who is afraid of losing to one of his contemporaries. Ten years ago he did something very similar to Yuriorkis Gamboa.

He sued Top Rank to be let out of his contract in order to avoid a showdown with "The Cyclone from Guantánamo" Yuriorkis Gamboa. He was afraid then also.
It seems that he's fooled a lot of people into thinking he was being brave by fighting a huge welter, when actually it's the complete opposite.

Mikey is a coward. He knew damn well he couldn't explain himself out of a loss to Loma like he has been able to with Spence.

Fooled a lot of people, no doubt. But he's not fooling me.

That coward ran for dear life.

Lol silly Mikey. you wish it never happened buddy. That shows what happens when you fight a top guy Mikey, you can't hang and it's not like he just lost a tough one where he was competitive and it was 116-112. He was dominated and out classed. Vargas will probably beat him just like he did Broner but get a 114-114 or lose 115-113 bc Hearn and Dazn need Garcia to win to try and get Pacquiao fight. Eddie will throw ENORMOUS money at Manny and he will take it.

You are absolutely correct. The man was completely petrified of Loma. He can fool all these gullible fight fans all he wants but he won't be able pull that small time stuff over on me however; Because I can see right through him and all the bullshit he's putting down!

Also, if he's not careful with another loss he is headed towards gatekeeper status. Jessie Vargas is no slouch he can fight and like Spence he is naturally stronger and bigger than M.Garcia too. He's about to take his second L.

He's too small for the welterweight division.

But then when a guy like Mikey takes a big risk and loses people want to write him off.

So which is it? Are we going to be accepting of losses or aren't we?
True however Mikey didnt throw anything infact he didnt do anything to give himself a chance at all.

A performance like that is like why even bother? at least Khan won a few rounds against Canelo same with Brook against GGG.

Mikey performance was one of the worst i have seen.

Actually, Maidana-Broner was one of the best fights I have watched in the last ten years, better than any Mayweather fights. But Broner got all that backlash cuz he was talking so much smack and he was c o c k y as hell.

Mikey just went in there to accept pay check without taking risk. The fight shows he dont belong to WW. Wondering how many fans will turn out to see his next fight...
