The truth is Deontay Wilder, Jay Deas, Shelly Finkel and Al Haymon have absolutely no confidence or faith in Eddie Hearn and Matchroom whatsoever.

This is a new angle I’ve never heard from the bum squad before... he’s aged him self by fighting endless pointless rematches with Stiverene and Ortiz , pointless fights against the likes of punching bag Brazzille. If he’s aged it’s because of his own avoidance tactics.
Wilder could have went down as an all time great if he took a different route, he could have fought Klitchko all those yrs back and then knocked out all comers like a real champ, but he chose a different path.

However, be that as it may; Hearn has been proven to be a stomped down big liar who could not be trusted. Who doesn't like to negotiate in good faith. All the broken promises, deadlines, dates, venues made team Wilder believed that the offer was just another sham.
Stop dreaming up all these ****** excuses. Wilder turned down the highest offer ever made for a HW title fight and ducked the unification with AJ. End of.

It's ironic they call AJ a slave to the white slave driver Eddie Hearn when they forgot Deontay Wilder is much more of a slave to his white master Shelly Finkel.

The offer didn't come from Hearn and Matchroom. It was an offer from John Skipper to Wilder which Hearn had no part in. All Eddie did was to confirm with Skipper that if Wilder accepted DAZN's offer, AJ would fight him.

People keep mention Deontay Wilder's age, OUT of all the top heavyweights 'He has he most momentum, both Joshua & Fury seemed to have regressed'.

But even still I will be backing Anthony Joshua to come out on top etc

Afraid of AJ? Did you say afraid of AJ? Do you know how many times Deontay Wilder has visited the canvas in the past 5 years? That's right none.

Now let's compare that to Anthony Joshua. How many times has AJ visited the canvas in the past 5 years? Anthony Joshua has tasted the canvas for a total of 5 times in the past five years.

Now a reasonable fan can deduce that Wilder has a much better chin than Joshua and would knock him out if the two were to ever meet in the ring.

Well that's what's holding up the fight. Eddie Hearn and Matchroom's participation and involvement. It's an ordeal that Wilder said that he doesn't want to be put through again; With all of the false starts, fake promises, phony venues, dates and reneged contracts.

That's why they are doing business with Bob Arum because he understands the fight game. He's always been a man of his word. If he promises a fight he will deliver it, while Eddie Hearn and Matchroom won't.

Had Hearn and Matchroom would have come out and told Wilder straight up that they weren't ready to fight him back in 2018 then Wilder would have understood it and moved on with no hard feelings. It's what Tyson Fury did.

Instead, Eddie Hearn just blatantly lied about wanting fight Wilder when he really never had any intentions of ever fighting Wilder back in 2018.

Judging by the passive nature of his approach in the rematch against a much shorter and even fatter ruiz, I doubt Joshua tries to ko wilder. If he does, he likely gets sparked before the 5th.
