Right. 00-10 only looks pretty on paper, but is as arbitrary as any other ten years. Every day is a new “of the last ten years”. Why give extra merit to an award that is partially based on timing? I don’t really care about sum arbitrary timeline which no fighter has ever taken into account. What I want to know is who after 2010 picked Manny to beat Floyd? Be honest.

        Glad you agree.

To compare 90s Jordan to 00s Mayweather is not just asinine, it's quite frankly disrespectful.

        Happy New Year.
And Karl Malone’s jazz had the best record in the league and he led the league in scoring I believe.

I think the Jordan comparison is very fair.

I’m fine if you disagree with me.

Why are you trying to fit a regular-season/playoff basketball comparison into the sport of boxing? There is no boxing equivalent of doing good in the regular season and coming up short in the playoffs. Every fight in boxing is of the utmost importance.

If floyd didn't temporarily retire to duck prime cotto, mosley, margarito he could have a slight chance to get the FOTD award..

Leonard won fotd in the 1980s Right? Didn’t he only win the award once during that decade while Hearns and Hagler each won twice?

It was decided in a poll done on here.

Pacquiao won, voted for by the true boxing fans.
