I remember HBO getting a regular one million viewers per mid-level type cards. Rios was easily getting that number during his time.

Why would you compare a fight he did early 18 to the fight he just had in 2019? That makes no sense. Compare Wilder's recent fight, where the TV ratings across the board have declined compared to 2018.

So when you look at Tank vs Gamboa compared to Wilder vs Breazeale, he did about quarter less in the ratings. At least in the average since I don't think the peak numbers are out yet.

The part about it only going a round is fair, but comparing the ratings to early 2018 is not. They have dropped across the board, we have already went over that. And more importantly, Tank's numbers in the 18-49 demos were very similar to Wilder's fight.

Wilder wasn't going to do a 1.1M average against Breazeale even if it did go 10 rounds. That wasn't happening either way....And again, that should be expected. The linear ratings are sliding while the streaming ratings are increasing.

40 weekends a year of mostly underwhelming match-ups on ESPN, FOX, FS1, and Showtime will do that. We're in the age of content over quality.

Showtime was doing terrible numbers in 2018 too. This isn’t new.

It’s not unreasonable to think the Breazeale fit could average over 900k if It went down 10 rounds which would be almost 60% higher than Tank
