A partial tear often doesn’t require surgery...you can wear one of this boot things that limit mobility. A girl I know just partially tore her’s playing soccer and she didn’t need surgery, although she was pretty well incapacitated by the injury. The doctor says the healing time is 4-6 weeks.

There’s no question Gamboa injured his foot. In the replay to the second round knockdown, you immediately see Yuri look down at his right foot as he gets up. He initially wanted to quit between rounds, but the ref pushed him out there. Lol Gamboa then spent the rest of the fight walking strangely. No way that was acting. Afterwards, they bound up his foot and took him to the hospital. I know you can’t put anything past people, but the evidence is compelling. Now, is the injury as bad as they say? That’s obviously open to debate. But I think what matters is that it was truly a limiting injury.

If he has torn it before then he probably injured it again.

They are doing anything they can to make Davis' performance look better including calling Gamboa a liar.

He probably sprained his calf or some ****. Dude is just making excuses after getting his ass whooped. Cubans are bigger sore losers than the Brits

Lol Like I said, maybe the extent of the injury is in question, but there’s no doubt Gamboa sustained an injury that impaired him for ten rounds. You only have to watch the fight to know. If Yuri made all that up, then I’ve seen everything. Haha

There's no way he ruptured his Achilles as some posters were claiming.

Probably slight sprain or twist. Which debunks Crawford's theory (and NSB's) that Tank fought a cripple.

Sprains/twists hurt like hell, but it's not like you can't function when they happen.
