Rigo will go down in my mind as one of the “could’ve beens “ in boxing history. (Same with Gamboa.) Guillermo started his career late and was relatively inactive, partly through his own fault. His is a talent that is not often seen. Most don’t appreciate it, and possibly never will.
More good news - Rigo's title fight all set for February 8th on the Gary Russell card! Fingers crossed that he can get another title. That would be a warm fuzzy if it happens. It's on the front page of Boxingscene today.

That's the problem with Cuban fighters. They don't even get to go pro until they're on the decline.

He's lost his legs. Happened to him, Lara, Gamboa, Acosta, Perez, Sullivan. Will keep happening.

WBA Regular at 122? Was thinking that they might match him with Nery eventually at 122.
