What happened to Rigondeaux against Ceja?

Okay, I just watched the fight with him vs Ceja since I never watched the fight but WTF. He's fighting like an antonio Margarito, flurrying hard shots while his chin is in the air.

It's entertaining to watch, but I just can't stomach it coming from Rigondeaux.

Legs are gone, decided to mix it up in close due to that age associated limitation.

Sad to see Lara and Rigo fighting this way. They used to be master boxers, and now that the legs are gone, they have to fight face first.

Frankly, I enjoyed it. Yeah, it wasn’t as clean a look for Rigo, but it was fun to watch. I always wanted more of a boxer-puncher style from Gulliermo, something he displayed in the Donaire fight. He has very few outings left, so we won’t see him this way for long. He might even be done. He’s 39 now, and doesn’t have an upcoming fight.

It's his most entertaining yet arguably his worse performance to date. He showed that he wasn't defensively adept on the inside, and all he really did was keep his guard up.

It seems like Rigo and his team are trying to go on a winning streak and parley it to one last big fight vs Inoue for a big payday. And I doubt Rigo would see that 12th round, much less win that.

... Ceja then pulled a draw vs Brandon Figueroa...

Well, if that’s the idea, they’re sure taking their time. That Ceja fight was in June, and they haven’t got anything lined up. Rigo should’ve been so much busier in his career. Even now, at the end, there’s still no sense of urgency.
