Wallin is pointless fight for Whyte. Wallin can fight Takam, kabayel, or somebody else.

I wouldn't mind seeing Wallin in with Whyte (or any of the fringe contenders like Takam, etc). If Big Baby Miller needs a fight, that's not a bad matchup.

Wallin is big and tough and has some decent pop. That should be enough to contend with many of these flawed fighters on the fringe. Whyte didn't look all too impressive in his win over Each. If the Viking had a little more stamina or pop, he may have won that fight. He caught Whyte clean way too many times.

No more Takam. He's not a fringe contender, he's shot to ****. Bob just signed him to make his guys look good. He's a jobber now.

I'd like to see this fight, and I'd go out on a limb and say that Wallin can win this. If the fight is in the UK (as it would most probably end up), he'd have to go for a KO though, I think.

Now that he's WBC mandatory, Whyte needs to be careful of who he faces next. However, he shouldn't face someone that doesn't motivate him, and is Wallin really going to motivate him? That would be an embarrassing loss.

Very good post, he has to be careful now and probably cherry pick smartly, but he also needs to be careful like you said due to lack of motivation. His last fight was like a last minute thing, where he looked awful and overweight.

Boxers like Whyte get up more for those sort of dangerous opponents, but 2020 can be a big year for him. His last 4 fights has been Wach, Rivas, Parker and Chisora.. No one can argue with that sort of competition at HW.

Yet Fury has the same KO% as Whyte. Bigger KO% than Andy Ruiz. Bigger than Povetkin.

                    All supposedly good punchers.

and? Look at his stoppages, accumulation on an outclassed opponent. Not because of his power. It's clear as day the fighters you mentioned hit far harder than Fury. If they landed as much as Fury did on Wallin they'd have stopped him.
