Gamboa is still a live dog in this game, and Davis arguably won every single round even though it was somewhat close. So many posers on this website ready to throw tank under the bus, just give him some time.

Stop trolling, he is far from a live dog with a ruptured Achilles -
I think its a little harsh due to the high expectations, Tank in 3 was likely never going to happen that said he had a sitting duck in front of him for 10 rounds. A 38yr old whose speed has heavily declined that had one leg, he couldn't even generate any power on his punches and hardly fought to survive.
I don't think he looked terrible more he needs to get accustomed to the weight and a lack of experience.
I think it'll do Tank a lot of good moving forward he now knows what its like to see round 12 and has a much greater idea of how to pace himself and such. I think he was underwhelming but there is a lot he can take away from it.
Even after that I don't see him losing to anyone outside of Loma and Haney.Comment

His lack of conditioning and output/struggle to close the show for 95% of the fight with a injured fighter didn’t helpComment

He's a fighter that relies on explosiveness, he has a lot of fast twitch muscle fibres fighters like this always have to fight in spurts with the exception of very few.
I thought he punched himself out a little bit but I feel it was more a lack of experience than a conditioning issue though his out the ring lifestyle could certainly be a bit better.
There is a lot of truth both ways but feel there needs to be a middle ground with his performance.Comment

He wasn’t exposed but there is a glaring flaw on his work ethic when his output was similar to that of a past prime Floyd Mayweather at 38 which is somewhat alarming!
He needs to stop ballooning so much in between fights and stay in the gym! He’ll have more success against an opponent who will come to win instead of making it to 12 obviously but with all the handicaps Gamboa should’ve been outta there within 4!
Do anyone think Lomachenko, Haney, Commey, Lopez or even Ryan Garcia would let that version of Gamboa see the 12th?Comment

... now: tbh, we just can't know if he was exposed or not...
... I rather think that Tank took some rounds vs a very skilled, but old and injured opponent...
... in his past 22 fights, Davis boxed an average of only 3 rounds per fight!...Comment

No Gamboa did not expose Davis
He does that all alone , with his fear to fight a live body or anything good enough to threaten his 0
He’s not doing himself any favours by doing this
It’ll be worse after he fights LSC , as I don’t expect him to win but will probably give Tank many fits
If he goes after Russell Jr , he loses that 0 imoComment
