Vegas is a terrible idea. Wembley or the O2 will have far more people and a far better atmosphere. 90,000 cheering fans or 15,000 cynical Americans who would rather be watching fat dancers pretend to wrestle.
The UK is the new home of heavyweight boxing, its by far the most exciting place for these huge fights. Boxing is almost dead in the US, it is strong and thriving in the UK.
I really don't see a single reason for putting the fight on in the states, other than saving face and harking back to the old days.
