Yes but when no world class fighter wanted to fight GGG, haters said GGG wasn't good because he fought no world class fighters. It was an unfair argument.

Jesus, some guys love to defend Hopkins record of defenses but **** on Golovkin's. Hopkins had multiple rematches of completely unnecessary fights. I can only imagine how much **** GGG would get if he rematched someone he already beat. I realize this thread is old but it's still funny to read old posts.

he was the man to beat at 135. He unified 140. He beat postol and indongo. I don't care what you think about them. They were the best available at the moment at 140 and world champions. Both #1 in the division. And he beat both with ease.

He moved up to 147 and beat horn who had a very close dirty fight with pacquiao. And made khan quit.

His resume is not bad and you can only beat those who are available and willing to step in the ring with you. You can't beat spence when spence is not available for a fight. You can't beat pacquiao when pacquiao is not available for a fight.
